Kilsyth is a small outer Melbourne suburb located in the outer eastern region just 34kms from the Melbourne city centre. Kilsyth is easily accessible from all locations and is settled at the foothills of Mt Dandenong.

Kilsyth is known as the “Blue Hills” amongst locals as it is surrounded by the scenic hills of the Dandenong Ranges.

Kilsyth’s Miniature Railway track and the massive white Dome are two major tourist attractions. Kilsyth also houses stunning picnic grounds near the lakes, where families can swim and play. However, visitors with children should take precautions as these areas are not regularly patrolled by lifeguards.

Kilsyth also boasts a number of local markets and shopping avenues, where visitors can check out some of the local arts, crafts and souvenirs.
