Sherbrooke Attractions, Things To Do & See, Tourist Places to Visit, VIC

The most famous of these is the Dandenong Ranges National Park, a stunning reserve home to a variety of flora and fauna. The park is divided into five major sections: Ferntree Gully, Dongalla Forest, Olinda Forest, Sherbrooke Forest, and the Mt Evelyn Forest. Wear comfortable walking shoes to make the most out of your visit.

Sherbrooke Falls is one of the nicest waterfalls in the Dandenong Ranges. It’s a popular weekend destination for visitors and resident families, which isn’t a surprise considering how convenient it is to get here and enjoy the scenery. The walking trail is a great way to get some exercise in as you are greeted by some of the world’s tallest flowering trees, lush ferns, and grasslands. If you have some time, relax by picnicking at the O’Donohue Picnic Ground – not far from the Sherbrooke Lodge Road.

The Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens is favourite among nature lovers visiting Sherbrooke. Some of the stunning plants you’ll find here include Mountain Ash trees, shrubs, and vibrant flowers. It’s also home to a tranquil lake where you can enjoy a picnic and relax with loved ones. The best time to visit the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens is in the spring when the flowers come alive with colour.

The George Tindale Memorial Gardens is a public park that is home to some stunning rare, native flowers. What makes these gardens unique is that its acidic soil is abundant in minerals, making it easy for rare plants to thrive without the need for fertilisers. Some of the magnificent flowers you’ll find here include magnolias, fuchsias, camellias, azaleas, and much more.

Sherbrooke attractions are ideal for visitors who want to relax and sightsee with a leisurely pace. If you wish to unwind, we recommend checking out these sights.
