Upper Ferntree Gully Market

The Upper Ferntree Gully Market, also known as the Gully Market, has been a staple on the market calendar for over 40 years.

Scheduled on Saturday and Sunday mornings until 3pm, the market is primarily a specialty plant market.

Upper Ferntree Gully Market, Stalls & Dates 2017 – Dandenong Ranges

The Upper Ferntree Gully Market sells a wide range of plants and trees including carnivorous plants, bonsai, fresh flowers, rare bulbs and ferns. You will also find second hand goods, soaps, jewellery, carpets and rugs.

Food served here includes fresh fruit and vegetables, poffertjes, hot dogs, hamburgers, sushi, coffee and cold drinks.

Most of the regular stalls here are the produce and hot food such as the popular hot jam donut food vans, however there is a steady rotation of other stalls each week, with some of the bigger weekends attracting up to 60 stalls. You will however always find a good selection of fresh produce every weekend.

You will find the market at the Upper Ferntree Gully train station car park and there is plenty of parking located here. Only 45 minutes from Melbourne, why not take a trip out to the beautiful Dandenong Ranges and stop off to pick up some tasty treats on your way!
