Grassroots Market Upwey, Dandenong Ranges – 2017 Dates & Times

This market is a great opportunity for community members to meet those that produce the product with a huge range of unique items on sale. This is a handmade market, so you will not find any reselling of mass-produced items here.

You will find plenty of hand-made items and crafts here including soaps, candles, toys, pottery, shoes, purses, handbags, paintings and woodwork. You will also find a huge range of food items including home-made chutneys and jams, oils, sauces, cupcakes and cakes.

Bring your kids as they will be entertained by the playground and sometimes the market even has a jumping castle! Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead.

There will also be live music from local buskers, so make sure to bring some change to support these local artists.
As the market is a sustainable market so you will not find bottled water for sale, so please bring your own and also make sure to leave your plastic bags at home and bring only recycled bags.

You can find the market in Upwey which is the Dandenong Ranges, just 35kms east of Melbourne. You can drive and park behind the shops, or catch a train on the Belgrave line.
