According to the organisers of the event, the annual Open Studios group exhibition “aims to produce a cohesive and diverse range of artwork to showcase the creative energy and skill of each artist.” This unique exhibition gives you the opportunity to meet artists in their working studios, with up to 35 participating studios including Emerging Artists, Collectives and Individual Artists. Applications for artists for the 2018 exhibitions closed on 8 October 2017.
Visitors coming to the Open Studios will get to meet many artists over a range of mediums and may also be able to pick up a never before seen piece of artwork or perhaps commission a bespoke piece for their home. Only artists from the Dandenong Ranges are able to display their work, so come along to support the locals artists.
